'Fakeproof' e-passport is cloned in minutes

British newspaper The Times exposed security flaws in the RFID chips. The RFID chips were introduced to protect against terrorism and organized crime, but are instead worthless. At worst, they can be used to easily swipe data which can then be copied to a blank passport, like the 3000 which have been stolen recently.
